The Happy Tutor

I first found my passion for supporting children and young people in education when I began working as part of pastoral care. Following this, I graduated as a JNC Youth and Community worker with approval from the Education Training Standards (ETS) committee of the National Youth Agency (NYA) in 2015. I have experience supporting children and young people with everything from their education, their rights, homelessness, transitioning into high school, NEETs etc.

 Over the years I dedicated myself to empowering children and young people to feel inspired and confident in their own abilities using a growth mindset. I have encouraged countless young lives to reach higher, aspire for more and make positive steps to reach their goals. I decided to move into teaching and use my skills as an informal educator to develop resilience, relieve pressure and bring fun back to learning. I proudly opened ‘The Happy Tutor’ in 2022. 

As an independent tutor I offer quality teaching at affordable prices to encourage participation from pupils from all backgrounds.
